Welcome to the Shy family farm web page. We have been on this farm since 1916. We  are approximately 75 miles north of Tulsa Oklahoma. Located outside of Caney Kansas by Hwy. 75 and Hwy 166 junction  on old highway 166 (Tyro cutoff)  by  the Kansas/ Oklahoma state line.  Our small goat business began in 2007 after my dad and I bought some goats to clean brush and weeds. After they had kids mom fell in love with the kids and it escalated from there to where we are now. We are proud to offer everything from commercial to full blooded Boer goats.  We was just raising traditional Boer goats until mom saw a paint Boer and she fell in love with the color. Now  our  breeding program not only includes Traditional Boer goats but also Paints and Solid Red Boers.  We stay focused on breeding in having well proportioned  goats that require little or no maintenance and deworming at a affordable price.. Those that does not meet our strict standards we remove from our breeding program.  We genuinely enjoy having these goats in our lives, and it is our belief  that to them our main priority is  to keep them healthy, comfortable and happy. They  share our farm with a few cattle, a horse, 3 livestock dogs who protect them from any predators and 3 to 20  barn cats ( depending on what time and day you show up and if its feeding time). Our goal is to provide quality goats at affordable prices. Come by and take a look at our herd or just pull up a chair under the shade tree with a glass of tea and lets talk about goats. Either way you will go away happy.
